Vanessa is a board-certified aesthetic medicine specialist based in Orlando, Florida. She officially began her medical career at 18 years old as a dental assistant while pursuing her first degree in nursing. As a Registered Nurse Vanessa cared for medical surgical, ICU and labor and delivery patients. Returning to pursue her advanced degree she specialized in family medicine providing care for patients across the lifespan. Throughout her early medical career, Vanessa found and developed her love for the unique needs of the skin and this led her to pursue a focus in both clinical and aesthetic dermatology.

With over 7 years of experience in the field of aesthetic medicine, Vanessa is dedicated to enhancing natural beauty and boosting self-confidence through personalized treatment plans. Specializing in minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures, advanced skincare techniques and the emerging field of regenerative aesthetics to enhance the appearance of the skin and body, Vanessa is committed to providing patients with safe, effective, and cutting-edge treatments.

In addition to providing excellent care, Vanessa is passionate about continuous learning and professional development which are essential in aesthetic medicine to stay current with new technologies, techniques, and best practices. Vanessa is dedicated to promoting holistic well-being and empowering individuals to look and feel their best. Vanessa is a proud military veteran spouse, she and her husband have been married for 24 years and have twin daughters that are studying nursing and civil engineering at the University of Central Florida. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family on open water fishing, gardening, decorating, going to UCF football games and traveling.

Entrepreneur and Founder, Pamela Petersen has owned and operated several medical practices since 1988. She officially opened Meraki Wellness and Med Spa in 2019, Meraki Esthetic Institute and Meraki Aesthetic Academy in 2023. Vanessa Medina, APRN is an advanced injector specializing in neuromodulators, fillers, and skincare. She graduated from USF in MSN. Her favorite procedures are facial balancing and lips. Vanessa enjoys continuing education and learning about the new emerging Aesthetic trends. She was born in Puerto Rico, and has been living in Orlando for several years. She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors with her family and dogs. Vanessa is a fun and personable injector and would love to have you as her patient so she can make you glow from the inside out.
